in my opinion, most disappointing album of the year so far. i could only get through half of it without having to turn it off :/

the new ben folds was rather disappointing too, actually. but (edit)NOwhere NEAR as sad.

[Current Music |Step Into My Office Baby - Belle and Sebastian]

I didn't know whether this was necessary, but someone else did it, so here's mine.

Name: Megan
Age: 19
Where you at? West LA, California
favorite bands: (Indie faves first) Warning: I have a VERY wide interest range when it comes to music: Belle and Sebastian, Death Cab For Cutie, Elliott Smith, my friend just gave me the Arcade Fire CD, pretty good so far, Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Shins, The Strokes, yeah and then non-indie stuff: The Beatles are my all-time favorite, it's an obsession, as is Kelly Clarkson.
favorite movies: Love Actually, I Am Sam, Eternal Sunshine, Girl Interrupted, Little Mermaid (haha), and Legally Blonde.
Favorite song of all time: Actually, I can answer this one, "A Day in the Life" by the Beatles.
The last time you ate girl scout cookies: It's been too long, man. The other day I was gonna buy the Girl Scout cookie ice cream, the thin mint one. Mmmm... but then my boyfriend saw how much it was and we slowly walked away.

OK, so I joined this thing because I like the age limit and because all my Indie stuff is pretty mainstream, so I was wondering if you guys would reccommend some other bands. More like the Belle and Sebastian, Transatlanticism Death Cab, Elliott Smith-y kinda almost folk-y stuff. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I love finding new awesome music. Oh and please don't judge me by my Kelly Clarkson, Legally Blonde lovin' side :)
